Totally Rad Marc Jacobs Flats Trendy-Classics

I came across these awesome hip flats by M Jacobs. I'm calling these the "trendy classics" because they are so current and versatile to wear, yet they will have great longevity in your wardrobe.

Above: The updated ballet flat by Marc Jacobs in red and black.

Above: Marc Jacobs white & black Mary Jane ballet flat "Lisa"

Above: Marc Jacobs stud sandals in flat heels. This is a great alternative & better daily shoes than Valentino stud flats because it has just the right touch of pizzazz.

Above: Oohhh Marc Jacobs...! His whimsical genius continues! I am not a big fan of ballerina flats. But these I'll take!! The nickname Punk Mouse is uber cute too!

Oxford Shoes Meet Platform Slip-On's

So this is a follow up on my previous Oxford Shoes designs!

I came across these totally trendy new designs in Wimef (shopping app). And I think they are so adorable & practical~!!^_^

Black, ivory, white Oxford eyelet punches with laceups and flat tassels on a raised platform slip-on shoes!

Such a smart combination... This would work year round for dark slacks, as well as lighter slacks! And it adds more length to your legs :)
Fresh feelz! Ivory white Oxford shoe inspiration meets comfy slip-on shoes! With chunky teethy soles... I love how classic meets casual here! Juxtaposition FTW!

Perfect for everyday shoes!
Smart & super comfortable...

Classy comforts... This is so great for FW wardrobe. It has a rich depth of color but it is still youthful and practical with the raised platform sole!

For the Uniform Girls & Preppy Dandy people~ The tassels and the color and finish all create a more Hogwarts feel...

The bow ribboned Oxford shoes! This one looks less like a slip-on but it still has that casual trendy vibe of a slip-on...

Flat Shoes of Fall 2015: The Oxford Shoes for Women

Ladies~

These Oxford shoes are the perfect *It Shoes* Fall 2015~ They are always appropriate (save very formal or very flirty occasions), super comfy, goes with most anything in your wardrobe, and keeps your feet warm. Moreover still, they come in a wide variety and add that distinct classy articulate attitude to your steps!

Here's a round up of all the different possibilities~ ^_^!!!

#1. Instant fall babe look: Pair it with an almost matching big scarf~ Here, the model kept it even more chic by restricting the colors to closely mimic her hairtone.

#2. Go retro feminine: Wear it with a feminine retro lovely blouse and bow, or a retro style fitted cardigan.

#3. Try demure-foxy Parisienne styling in a sharp 3/4 length coat, silk camisole or low cut blouse, and herringbone tailored pants. Here again, model is sporting a clean look by keeping her hair, brows, pants, shoes all in the same dark neutral brown!

#4. Oh the versatility! Your Oxford lace-up's will play nice with your suit ensembles, a semi-casual or cute dresses~ AND your denim jeans~!!

#5. LOVE this color combo for fall! Faded grey with ombré tip brown! Reminds me of those gorgeous buildings in downtown Chicago~! Note the higher neck cuffing your ankles in this pair... Oxford babies can be booted up to give you instant style & comfort~! No more chunky Doc Martens; leave those to teens & 20-something's, and only wear them for your   concert nights or for camping!! You need an upgrade Lady!

#6. Check for the eyelet placements. This pair has a minimal amount of eyelets.

#7. Wear with cigarette pants, try the Oxford shoes with a little heel. My personal limit is 4cm for heavy duty everyday shoes. 6cm maximum if stacked heels or wedge heels; but those still hurt after half a day of walking and wear for me.

#8. Go uber feminine & flirty with lacey bodied Oxford shoes with exposed top if you love sweet adorable outfits.

#9. No one can accuse you of looking too masculine in a pair of baby pink Oxford lace-ups! This one is super dolled up with abundance of eyelet designs all around from front to back~*

#10. This is the penultimate Fall 2015 It Shoes for the "Pumpkin Spiced Latte" tribes... They are the ultimate blend of sugary fall goodness and all the comforts of a pair of sneakers! I think if I had a pair like this, it would replace four of my shoes in one; no need for loafers, no need for mary-janes, no need for Doc Martens, no need for Converse sneakers!
#11. Spectator-Oxford's! Look smart & sharp in patent black & snow whites! Or go for a notch quieter in black & beige... It will still add class to your outfit!

#12. Finally~ Here are my two personal favorites. I am totally impartial to the tan & brown Oxford lace-up's above for Fall specific wear. But if I had to go with my personal signature colors for year round wear that includes the warmer months like Spring & Summer, ivory beige or a sunny yellow would be ideal. They look like a dressy version of Converse or ked sneakers & up-scale updates to my regular driving shoes & clunky ankle boots. ^__^ What's your ideal favorite Oxford shoes? Can Flat Shoes Be Sexy?

Dear Flat-Shoe-Lovers,

Well, here is the golden question... Can your flat shoes be sexy?

As you all know, I can't wear heels very well. I'm comfortable at 4cm, but anything beyond that, I can't wear them for daily wear. I teach 6 hours regularly, and even on days when I don't teach, I walk a lot. So, comfort comes first when looking for shoes.

On rare occasions, I might wear a 6~7cm wedges but I would die if I wore that for any longer than 3 hours straight. I sincerely do not know how other women wear heels for work shoes!

Having said that, and having *declared* myself, as a Flat-Shoe-Gal, I've wondered if flat shoes can still have a little bit of those sexy qualities that 'heeled shoes' almost always have. :)

Today, I reveal to you some great sexy smexy flats, that can make any flat-shoe-loving fashionista could ask for!

* * *

1. From my personal research into Sexy Flat Shoes, I've found that yes, as long as the toes are pointy and not rounded, they can still look quite sexy.

2. Following that logic, pointy shoes that have tassels on them which are a tad more traditional and classic, CAN look sexy especially if they are patent leather, because the glossiness helps reduce the too-dowdy feeling! :D

3. Ferragamo baby~!! Well, I'm not a huge fan of ribbons or bows, they can look too cute and childlike... But, if the bow is not too rounded, not too feminine, like these flat rectangular shaped, modern looking ones, I guess, you could wear them well with all sorts of outfits, both casual and formal. Note again, that the toes are pointy.

4. Then come the ankle straps! I think these pointy-toe flats with ankle straps are the latest HITS in my city, Seoul, Korea. I'm seeing so many of these this season. Must be the 'Star Product' they're pushing for this year! I see them in all kinds of fabrics and colors too. I really like this one in particular because it is more subtle in color; because you must watch out and make sure your legs don't look shorter from the straps visually cutting across your legs horizontally...

5. Here are a similar pointy-toed, ankle-strapped flats, but with the sides of you feet exposed... I guess these can't really be worn once the weather gets really chilly, but you could probably wear them again in Spring...

6. Metallic gold ankle straps! Yes! Red shoes! Yes! I couldn't find a picture of a sexier cut of these shoes in red... The sides of the shoe aren't cut sexy enough and add bulk to your feet shape, but I love the color combination here, with the extra glam touch on the ankles. :) The gold strap really kicks it up a notch~!! Such perfect party shoes~!!

7. Finally, the *studded affairs*... These glossy pink shoes with gold square studs are totally glam affairs~!! Instant pizzazz to your outfit~!!

Well, well, well... There you have it~*

Sexy flats that take you places, in both comfort AND lots of personality~!!
I hope you enjoyed these lovely flats...

And I wish you a happy shoe-journey, this Fall :)
